We’re keeping this wedding simple, handmade, and grounded.
We want it to be a coming together that highlights simplicity and participation.
Of course we need ordinary things like: a lead for the potluck table, someone to bring a poem, someone to plan an excursion to the beach for out of town guests.
But we are also excited to see what kinds of contributions you might come up with on your own. Even sharing an idea with us would be delightful.
This is an unfolding process, but right now we know we are looking for help in three core areas:
Contribute to the WeddingFood
Meals, tea, and making sure people are nourished.
Logistics
Setup, flow, materials, clean up, and the small things that make the day work.
Gathering & Space Holding
Simple moments of meaning—like a poem, a short meditation, or a way of bringing people together.
If one of these areas feels like you, reach out and we’ll co-create something that fits—clear, doable, and aligned with what you naturally bring.
Thank you for helping make our wedding grounded and down to earth, celebrating something real.
A Few Ideas
In case something sparks:
Food
- A tea tender who sets up and tends a simple loose-leaf tea station throughout the day
- Someone who brings a family recipe with a small card explaining its story
- A harvest basket coordinator gathering seasonal fruit or flowers
- A bread baker—one loaf, made with care, broken together at the meal
Logistics
- A threshold keeper to welcome and orient guests
- A memory photographer or two
- Clean up support
- Someone who understands the flow of the day and can answer small questions
Gathering & Space Holding
- A question tender offering a meaningful prompt
- A singer or musician sharing a piece
- Someone to collect written wishes into a keepsake booklet
- A closing circle holder to gather everyone before the end
Wilder Ideas
- A time capsule keeper for notes and objects
- Someone who plants something as a living marker of the day
